WELCOME TO OUR 2025 HOWL-O-WEEN PET COSTUME CONTEST
CALLING ALL SPOOKY PET PARENTS... Halloween is upon us, so it's time to unleash your pet's inner monster, ghost or superhero and have a wag of a time!
Unlike a lot of other Halloween Pet Contests, we decided to have ours at the very end of the month to give everyone an opportunity to be a part of this... allowing those who dress their pets up on the actual day of Halloween to join in on the action.

Whether they be 2 or 4-legged, submit a photo of your pet in their most creative, adorable, or hilariously spooky costume and join our community celebration of furry (or not so furry) friends. This year we're inviting pet lovers far and wide to share the magic of their costumes and celebrate their pet's unique purrr-sonality.
Costume Ideas: Classic Horror Fun (ghost, vampire, witch, mummy), Spooky-But-Cute (pumpkin, bat), Pop Culture Nods (favorite movie character, superhero, wizard), Whimsical (fairy, pirate, unicorn, circus theme), Foodie Flair (taco, donut, cupcake), or Holiday Mashups (Santa, Easter Bunny).
Safety Guidelines: Ensure costumes are breathable and free from choking hazards or small parts, use breakaway or non-restrictive fastenings, supervise your pet during photo sessions and during any costumed events, and if your pet shows signs of stress or discomfort, remove the costume immediately.

We can't wait to see your pet's bewitching beauty, punny poses, and fearless fashion. So gather your camera, pick a costume, and let your pet's purr-sonality shine! Plus, it's a great opportunity to connect with fellow pet lovers and share some laughs.
This is not just a contest; but a celebration of the bond we share with our pets and the joy they bring to our lives.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Dress your Pet: Get creative! Create a costume and/or display that's safe, comfortable, and cute. Choose something with pet-friendly materials. You can include a prop or background to set the mood (optional).
- Snap a Photo: Capture a clear, well-lit image that shows the costume and your pet's personalty -- whether they're posing like a pro or caught mid-sneeze in a witch hat.
- Submit your Photo: Send your photo to halloweenpawcat@gmail.com along with your Pet's name, costume name, and a brief description about your Pet's backstory (120 words or less) of his favorite thing to do.
- Vote and Celebrate: Once all the photos are submitted by the deadline date of November 3, 11:59 p.m. we'll curate a spooktacular online gallery of the Top 5 where friends and family can vote for their favorite pet November 6th through November 12th. A Winner of First, Second, and Third place will then be chosen by the highest number of votes on November 14th.
HOW TO ENTER AND RULES OF SUBMISSION
HOW TO ENTER: Beginning October 30, 2025, at 12:00 am CST through November 3, 2025, at 11:59 pm CST, email halloweenpawcat@gmail.com to submit your picture along with Pet’s name, Costume Name, and a brief description (120 words or less) of his/her favorite thing to do.
RULES: No more than one entry per email address or household is permitted. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method, or entering more than the number of times permitted, will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to natural persons who are: (a) residents of the 50 United States and (b) 18 years of age and older. By entering this Contest, participants accept and agree to be bound by these official rules and represent that they satisfy the eligibility requirements.
WINNER SELECTION/DRAWING: Once all entrants have been received by the deadline date, it will be narrowed down to five (5) entrants. Then, beginning November 6, 2025, through November 12, 2025, an online voting poll will be conducted to select three (3) winners… First, Second, and Third Place… on November 14, 2025.
